Fixing Cleantalk Anti-spam

Have you had this error before?

Just for a little background I am running Drupal 7.39 with the Cleantalk Anti-spam module version 1.3. I tried updating to 

version 1.4, however, I did not have any success.

The solution to the problem is to actually quite simple. If you can make a pound sign # then you can fix your problem. 

I found that commenting out line 646, clearing my cache, and logging in again fixed the problem.
